Privacy Policy

Purpose

This privacy policy applies to WF INVESTMENT MANAGER PTY LTD (WF) (ABN 52 645 165 895, CAR No #001288999) (as the context requires We, Our or Us) in relation to Our operations in Australia. This policy explains how We handle personal information and comply with the requirements of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) as amended and complies with the thirteen Australia Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012. This policy relates to Our collection and handling of personal information that is covered by the Privacy Act. It is not intended to cover categories of personal information that are not covered by the Privacy Act.

These practices may be changed, but any changes will be posted and changes will only apply to activities and information on a going forward, and not retroactive, basis. Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of Our website. This helps Us to provide you with a good experience when you browse Our website and also allows Us to improve Our site.

Where we store your personal data

The data that We collect from you may be transferred to, and stored in Australia and overseas. In the event that any data is stored overseas, it may also be processed by staff operating outside Australia who work for Us or for one of Our suppliers. All information you provide to Us is stored on Our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted. Where We have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of Our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. In most cases we will ask that you put your request in writing to us. We will investigate your complaint and will use reasonable endeavours to respond to you in writing within 30 days of receiving the written complaint. If we fail to respond to your complaint within 30 days of receiving it in writing or if you are dissatisfied with the response that you receive from us, you may have the right, depending on the jurisdiction, to make a complaint to the applicable regulator.

Complaints

We will deal with your complaint confidentially and endeavour to acknowledge receipt in writing within two business days of receiving the complaint. We will try to resolve all issues within a maximum of 45 days of receipt, but in a shorter period if possible. If it is impossible to substantially respond to your complaint within 45 calendar days, you will, before the end of that period, be:

  • informed of the reasons for the delay;
  • advised of your right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC); and
  • be provided with the contact details of the OAIC.

In the event you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you may refer the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: https://www.oaic.gov.au/individuals/how-do-i-make-aprivacy-complaint

If you choose not to identify yourself or to use a pseudonym when dealing with Us in relation to a privacy complaint, then it may be impracticable for us to investigate and resolve the complaint.
